Our Newest Additon to the Family!

One week ago we adopted a new little kitten from our neighbors the Figueroa's. The kitten was born in their attic. It's siblings were too wild to tame and were picked up by Animal Control. This little guy was smarter than the rest and showed his lovable side immediately. We fell in love with our own 'little baby Sprout' (Avery has named the kitty this based on her uncle Brad's black cat named Sprout...we have no other name for him yet).
We are all in love with our new family member! Avery loves taking him every where with her! She is still in kitty transportation training. For now, the tummy take offs are fewer and the kittly kruises in a breathable knapsack are greater.

Getting Started

Greetings, Family and Friends!

Here is our first entry to the blogging world. In an effort to keep you - our family and friends - updated on our daily lives, we shall post our events here.

Today is Memorial Day.

Grandparents Beth and Jon brought our children home from 'Granny Camp' weekend and stayed at our hosue for a lunch of elk burgers, salad, tortellinis & strawberry shortcake. We have no dramatic photos - just a few of Michael on the new playground slide in our back yard. Dave and Jen spent the Sunday / Monday time apart from our children doing what parents dream of...napping, cleaning, mowing, shopping for their little ones, and eating meals slowly.
Here is a pic of Dave admiring his labor of love in the backyard. Dave single-handedly rebuilt and painted the swingset that our wonderful neighbors allowed us to dismantle and remove from their yard. Grandpa Jon helped take dismantle from our neighbor's yard. Dave did all the rest! (Dave, you amaze me!)

Michael is totally into SpiderMan these days. Notice he is scaling and walking up the slide just like SpiderMan. Do you know any two year olds who can walk up a slide without using their hands?!? This one can!!

Tomorrow we go to Six Flags for the first time ever as a married couple and with children. We'll let you know how it goes!
